A NOTE

I am writing to inform all of you that this December I will not be performing. Usually my website has my December schedule by around August hence I thought I should write this note. This is for me a sabbatical of sorts. Right from when I was about seven or eight years old I have enjoyed the music season immensely listening to music, lec-dems, talks etc. Every moment of my experiences are part of who I am and what my music is. Over the last decade or more it’s been almost impossible for me to create that mind space in me during the music season. I have made it a point to listen to a lot of concerts but when one has so many concerts to perform its difficult to relax, enjoy, assimilate and learn. This is what I hope to do this music season. Many people have asked me if I will be travelling. The answer is no. The majority of the time I will be at the sabhas and sabha hopping as people say. I am really exited about this December and hope to have blast.
